Blind Spot Wrap

26/6/2014 Glasgow

Overview

The project looked to create more empathy between road users.

By highlighting where blind spots are on large vehicles, cyclists can avoid these areas and make it easier for the drivers of these vehicles to see them, while giving them more space on the road.

This idea was tested on a car, but would be most beneficial on buses and large vehicles.

Barrier This Solves

- Cyclists finding themselves in the blind spots of large vehicles.
- Cyclists not knowing where the blind spots are on large vehicles.
- The lack of empathy between drivers of large vehicles and those on bikes.
